Jennifer K. Magnard
For the last 15 years, Jennifer has been responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of complex group and individual benefit programs.
She began her career in Disability Management and has worked at three major insurers. She was responsible for the active and timely claims management of both Short and Long Term Disability claims for some of Canada’s largest employer groups. In addition, Jennifer has senior management experience in service and administration roles as well as group sales.
Her favourite part of her job now, as a Principal at Optimal Benefits, is working with her clients and meeting new people. Jennifer is passionate about making complex insurance concepts easy to understand while at the same time providing excellent customer service.
Jennifer graduated with a DEUG d’Anglais from the Université d’Orléans, France in 1995. She is an active member of the Human Resources Association of Calgary and has served as a volunteer for the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute as well as several non-profit organizations.
